Grief Support

A space for grief, connection and support.

Grief is a deeply personal experience. It can take many forms, and there is no right way to navigate it, no set timeline and no single path forward.

At The Let Go Room, we believe in creating space for grief, rather than trying to rush through it or make it disappear. A space to pause, feel, reflect and find your own way, at your own pace.

Through our own experiences with loss, we've come to understand how valuable it can be to have someone walk alongside you. Sometimes that means having someone to talk to. Other times, it's finding a moment of stillness, a different perspective or simply knowing that support is available.

Together, Lisa and Dean offer grief support through guided meditations, books and personal connection, with workshops, retreats and more opportunities to come.

Wherever you are in your experience of grief, you're welcome here.

Grief Chat

Gentle support,
whenever you need it.

Hi, I'm Lisa. I lost my Mum in 1983, at a time when support like this simply wasn't available to her.

I volunteer my time in the cancer space and I created these free meditations because I believe everyone living with cancer deserves this kind of care.

Listen wherever you are, for as long as feels right. Click below to play them, download and keep them or find them on Spotify.

Good Grief: Carry What Matters

For six months, Dean Aitken helped grieving families say goodbye by day and slept in his van by night.

Good Grief: Carry What Matters is what he learned from that year, and from the thousands of families he has sat with since.

This is a companion for living alongside loss, not getting over it.

Twelve short chapters, each built around one idea: noticing, breathing, feeling, carrying, choosing.

If you're tired of being told to stay positive, this book won't do that either. It sits with you, and hands you something small to hold onto.

Free Meditations for Grief

A moment of stillness, whenever you need it.

Grief is different for everyone. Some days you may feel like slowing down and resting, while other days you may find comfort in movement.

Lisa has created three free guided meditations to offer gentle support, wherever you are in your experience of grief.

Choose what feels right for you. A short reset when you need a moment to pause, a longer meditation to rest and reconnect or a walking meditation when you feel like moving. Yours to keep.

Enter your email below to access your free meditations and receive occasional updates from Lisa and Dean about future grief support, resources and offerings.

“Lisa adapts each session to suit the participants. She's very relaxing and encouraging and our cancer warriors love her sessions.”
